Description
Summary:The prevalence of SPA psychoactive substance consumption within the young population is a multi-causal problem where micro- and macro-social factors intervene. This problem in turn can have a multiplicity of approaches, from psychology, public health or sociology. From this point of view, the present study aims to design a pedagogical didactic proposal aimed at the development of socio-emotional competencies as a strategy that contributes to the prevention and reduction of psychoactive substance consumption in young people. The results indicate that the validity of the instrument was subjected to evaluative judgment by experts in the area, before its application, in the same way, the Cronbach reliability coefficient was estimated, with a value of α = 0.876 students and α = 0.896 instructions for Teachers, a very high category, according to the scale. The Principal Components Analysis (PCA) concludes that the matrix of rotated components identifies other groupings for the development of socio-emotional competencies, especially emotional intelligence, empathy, and emotional self-regulation, concepts to be taken into account for further research.
