Summary:This study shows the incidences in the teaching of the English foreign language and how this is favored through the application of an innovative program based on the total physical response (TPR) method, it is also based on an interpretive paradigm, an introspective approach Experiential, on the other hand, a qualitative research approach, in addition this research is based on the method action research (AR), this was carried out at the Policarpa Salavarrieta educational institution in the municipality of Sabanagrande, Atlántico; Instruments such as a documentary analysis were applied, as well as an interview with the 1st grade teachers, which yielded favorable results for a future application of the innovative program based on the Total Physical Response (TPR) method. Adjusts to academic needs and resources regarding the English foreign language.
