Summary: | The objective of this research work is to design strategies for the integration of parents into the virtual academic process of their children for the improvement of school approval rates at the Simón Rodríguez de Santa Marta educational institution. The research arises as a need to move on towards educational quality, since the problem of school disapproval arises largely due to family factors, lack of support that negatively affects academic performance and educational quality. We work under a mixed approach, with a nonexperimental transectional design, under a descriptive-propositional investigation, using instruments for the collection of information as a review matrix of the school approval rates of the IED Simón Rodríguez in the last three years, questionnaire applied to parents, the group interview applied to teachers of the institution, as well as an analytic matrix on strategies for the participation of parents in the school process. Research results indicate that Educational Institutions must integrate parents into school processes to greatly guarantee the approval of children in their school year. It is concluded that, by having the strategies designed for the children’s parental support during virtual academic process, it allows educational institutions to have a tool to be applied in order to improve the school approval index. |
