Summary:The main objective of this research is to propose theoretical and methodological guidelines through training workshops that contribute to strengthening the teacher's attitudinal profile for ICT appropriation in the IED Paulino Salgado "Batata" and the IED Evaristo Sourdis in the city of Barranquilla. Starting from the initial diagnosis regarding the use and appropriation of ICT in classroom practices, in two official institutions located in the southwest of Barranquilla, it is made known that the difficulties encountered in some teachers are evidenced in the basic management of these tools whose use is reduced to the mere transmission of digital content, readings and transcriptions. The methodological design is under the complementary mixed paradigm. After collecting enough information through direct observation, focus group and surveys to the group of participating teachers from both institutions. The results showed that many teachers feel apathy towards technological tools and refuse learning articulated with ICT, from the foregoing it was concluded that it is necessary to strengthen the appropriation of ICT through training and accompaniment of the Secretary of Education of the District, in addition, the elaboration and development of the training proposal by workshops is pertinent so that what is exposed in the investigation materializes.
