Findings: With the recovery of brine, it manages to reduce consumption of 7.11 tons of salt daily at the plant, leading to savings of 35,539.6 bolivars per year for salt intake. Application/Improvements: When recovering the drained brine the impact this causes for chlorine soda plant, the central plant effluent and receiving water body (Lake Maracaibo) is decreased.

Métodos / Análisis estadístico: un sistema de tuberías que tiene en cuenta las características de los lodos, que sirvió de base para determinar la pérdida de salmuera en el efluente, realiza los cálculos necesarios para que los sistemas de tuberías se desarrollen y transporten los lodos desde el punto. Se planteó la descarga al sitio de recuperación. consideró el tamaño del problema en función de la medición de los niveles, la distancia de la sección de la tubería al lugar, el estudio hidráulico y el sistema isométrico de planos que se desarrolló. Resultados: Con la recuperación de la salmuera, logra reducir el consumo de 7.11 toneladas diarias de sal en la planta, lo que genera un ahorro de 35,539.6 bolívares por año para la ingesta de sal.
