Description
Summary:Education is the means by which we acquire professional growth, it is in the educational institutions where we forge our social character, where relationships and the first forms of participation in society are built, in this sense we can determine that this is where the personal development of students as young people; the family with its contribution in values and the school as a promoter of good educational practices, together allow learners to have the motivation to learn new knowledge. From this perspective the thesis is considered that a good school climate is imperative to achieve a good school life and improve the educational quality in educational establishments. The research is framed from the rationalist-deductive approach, allowing to highlight the situations that are related to the problems of study; a theoretical empirical design, complementary or mixed quantitative and qualitative paradigm is conceived and whose methodology is based on the formal logic of a descriptive, analytical and explanatory nature; the units under study are students and teachers of secondary education in San Andrés Islas, specifically the Educational Institution Antonia Santos, who are treated using observation and survey techniques. Among the results, it is determined that the institution requires the effort of the entire educational community to strengthen and improve pedagogical practices, the behavioral habits of the students and the infrastructure of the institution to achieve the transformation of the school climate. It is concluded that the interrelation between the aforementioned variables is fundamental to strengthen school coexistence and improve educational quality.
