Summary: | For the realization of the thesis was to carry out is a compilation and study of national and international, such as IEE80, NTC 2050 RETIE, which allowed us to develop the technical instructions for the design of electrical substations on the Caribbean coast standards before defining the design parameters such as shielding, mesh design grounding, the driver selection to minimize the margin of error in calculations and improve time to develop designs, developed a tool in Excel that allowed to make the collection of all formulas for design. In undergraduate work validation was performed by standard IEEE80 checked by the efficiency and reliability of the calculation tool exercises. For the development of electrical substations, currently being developed with international standards, which are very expensive and a very extensive methodology applied to determine the values required for the design of substations, this leads to a wastage of time in different designs. To conclude the instructions and calculation tool for the optimization of design projects conducted as if there are tools that allow us to make these calculations but require a fairly expensive investment and if done manually can present human error and the time to develop them would be broader, looking to improve the calculation tool and instructional times unify criteria for the designs. |
