Summary: | Bad treatment among partners, considered as bullying in English, meaning intimidate, harass. Because of the high incidence that this scourge in the educational community (students and teachers) and the consequences it causes for both the aggressor and the victim, a fact that has prompted educators, psychologists and researchers from different disciplines to focus their studies toward this subject. The aim of this study focuses on determining the profile of bullying among students in 6th, 9th and 11th grades of the School of Soledad INOBASOL, describing the roles of each of the actors involved in bullying (offender, victim and the observer) forms of harassment and support in situations of abuse in the participant population. It was considered highly relevant this research because it allows educational institutions to generate alerts and propose strategies to prevent or mitigate the scourge. The research work is approached from a quantitative approach, not experimental, transversal and descriptive field. The results obtained show that the forms of harassment or abuse of students, due to various profiles are: verbal aggression, physical aggression, social exclusion, and psychological intimidation. With regard to roles, generally the role of stalker is assumed by a male student both inside and outside the classroom without the presence of the teacher; the victim almost always conceals what is happening; the observer has a role of defender of the harassed person and teacher maintains a passive role. Similarly it was observed that there are bands inside and outside the institution supporting the aggressors. The study is expected to contribute to the awareness of the educational community with the problem. |
