Summary: | The present work aims to carry out a revitalization proposal in the Public Market area of the city of Barranquilla in order to incorporate factors that add to the understanding of public space as part of a benefit of an urban-architectural model that is plant as you like. The current situation of the public market area of the city of Barranquilla requires a series of analyzes that includes studies in the environmental, architectural, social and cultural areas for the generation of a revitalization, in order to obtain a landscape change with a positive impact by offering a setting that is articulated with the environment. In this way, it is sought to identify in this area the behavior of the inhabitants and their activities to once generate integral spaces for the management of existing problems. The project will seek to integrate urban components that help to improve urban design through a fundamental axis such as the public market space, leaving a social and urban environment that favors the optimal functioning of commerce, recreation, services, among others, in order to promote the development of the sector. Basically, this area will be given importance to mitigate the negative impact it offers to the environment, incorporating solutions on issues of public space, housing, market, infrastructure and civic culture. |
