Summary:This research focuses on the methodological practice of teachers and their relationship with sustained attention and the importance of different strategies. It was approached from the experiential introspective approach with an interpretive paradigm and the qualitative type investigative approach allowing to understand the methodological practice of teachers and their relationship with the sustained attention of third grade students. For data collection it was considered pertinent to use the technique of the observation guide and the survey. The results obtained show that the teacher should be interested in applying methodological strategies that include concrete material, audiovisual, recreational and technological material that allows to achieve the learning objectives and maintain the attention and concentration of their students.
