Summary:One of the biggest challenges that the educational systems face at this point, is the integration of technology into the teaching-learning process, considering that its use in the different aspects of life has modified the way young people think and how they learn to interact with others and develop new thinking and learning abilities. There is a word wide concern about the low scores shown in the subject of Chemistry, even at a higher level. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect that the use of the TIC might have, If we see them as a psychological instrument of measurement in order to regulate the intra-inter mental processes involve in education; in the academic outcome of a group of students from 10th grade in Chemistry that shows a low level in this subject and that is backed up by the academic school reports and periodical standardized external tests. The methodological design is of a pseudo experimental kind with pre-test and after-test with two random groups.
