description The main objective of this research is to determine if there is a difference between men and women in the four dimensions of the IQ questionnaire, which are: Explicit Sexual Behaviors, Emotional / Affective Behaviors, Technological Behaviors and Solitary Behaviors. In addition, the relationship between IQ dimensions and sociodemographic variables sex, age, religion and religious frequency was examined. It was carried out under the non-experimental ex post facto design, with a total sample of 344 participants (50% male and 50% female) with ages between 18 and 45 years. The results indicate that a majority of the participants consider sexual and technological behaviors to a greater extent as infidelity behaviors. Likewise, there were statistically significant differences between men and women in the dimensions of emotional and technological behaviors, with women considering these behaviors as infidelity behaviors to a greater extent than men. Age was not statistically significantly related to the dimensions of the questionnaire. However, there was a relationship between religious frequency and IQ dimensions. People who frequently attended religious acts viewed emotional and sexual behavior alone as more infidelity.

Además, se examinó la relación entre las dimensiones del IQ y las variables sociodemográficas sexo, edad, religión y frecuencia religiosa. Se realizó bajo el diseño no experimental de tipo ex post facto, con una muestra total de 344 participantes (50% varones y 50% mujeres) con edades entre los 18 y 45 años. Los resultados indican que una mayoría de los participantes consideran los comportamientos sexuales y tecnológicos en mayor medida como conductas de infidelidad. Asimismo, hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre hombres y mujeres en las dimensiones de comportamientos emocionales y tecnológicos, siendo las mujeres las que consideraban estos comportamientos como conductas de infidelidad en mayor medida que los varones. La edad no se relacionó de manera estadísticamente significativa con las dimensiones del cuestionario. Sin embargo, sí hubo relación entre la frecuencia religiosa y las dimensiones del IQ.
