Summary:The planning of basic response actions in case of environmental incidents, accidents or states of emergency at the Universidad de la Costa was carried out through an applied descriptive methodology, using the ISO 31000: 2018 standard as a guideline and the European standard UNE 15008: 2008 for the evaluation and analysis of environmental risks. A diagnosis of compliance with the regulations related to the project was carried out considering Decree 2157 of 2017 Article 3.1, Decree 1072 of 2015 Article 2.2.4.6.25, Decree 1076 of 2015 Article 2.2.3.3.4.14, Article 2.2.2.3. 9.3 and NTC ISO 14001: 2015 numerals 6.1 and 8.2. The evaluation of environmental risks was determined from the probability of occurrence and impact according to the defined scope where a according to the three environments (natural, human and socioeconomic) was carried out for each threat. It has been concluded that the university presents a low risk level in the threats of seismic movement, electrical storms, floods, falling trees, gas leaks, entry of domestic fauna, vectors and insects. Also, it presents a moderate risk for the threat of gales. Meanwhile, for buildings (blocks) 5,7 and 9, which are at a moderate level against the threats of spills, fires and water leakage. Finally, action plans for environmental emergencies were established.
