This project aims to provide a study that analyzes the social perception of the habitants according to the changes observed in the area where they reside, thus providing an information base for future social studies that allow mitigating negative effects and improving the quality of life of the population. Es posible señalar que uno de los factores más influyentes en el ordenamiento territorial es el crecimiento urbanístico y la variación del espacio del suelo, estos factores a su vez generan un impacto en el entorno y una variación en las características sociales de los habitantes, debido a esto se ha realizado un trabajo de grado titulado: “Análisis de la variación en algunas características sociales en la ciudad de barranquilla, a partir de información primaria y secundaria” que brinda un análisis informativo y descriptivo de las variaciones urbanísticas ,presentadas en zonas determinadas , de la ciudad y la influencia de estas en el ámbito social. Este proyecto tiene como gran objetivo brindar un estudio que analice la percepción social de los habitantes según los cambios observados en la zona donde residen, ofreciendo así una base informativa, para futuros estudios sociales que permitan mitigar efectos negativos y mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas. Para alcanzar lo descrito anteriormente, fue recopilada información de carácter primario y secundario respectivamente.
