Temporary service companies originated in Colombia and growth of the need for these kinds of services in labor and therefore its legal regulation has occurred after the emergence of the activity, without achieving sometimes know how as they operate, which has caused confusion regulations, obtaining regulatory progress with the issue of Act 50 of 1990 and its implementing regulations in which it defines its legal nature, and cataloged as the company that hires the provision service to third party beneficiaries. These companies are essentially generating jobs, but must be distinguished from that labor brokers are those persons or corporations without charge employers to hire workers on behalf of employers or workers involved with a company in the provision of a particular service, or offer workers an employer for such request as is the case of job boards.

Que tiene como objetivo, promocionar a los estudiantes y graduados de esta institución implementando talleres especializados en competencias genéricas, visionando el mercado laboral y prepararlos para enfrentarlo. Las Empresas de servicios temporales en Colombia tuvieron su origen y crecimiento de la necesidad de estas clase de servicio en materia laboral y por eso su reglamentación jurídica se ha dado con posterioridad al surgimiento de la actividad , sin que se logre conocer en algunos casos la forma como se realizan sus actividades, lo cual ha originado confusiones normativas , lográndose un avance normativo con la expedición de la ley 50 de 1990 y sus decretos reglamentarios en las que se le define su naturaleza jurídica , y las cataloga como aquella empresa que contrata la prestación de servicio con terceros beneficiarios .
