Summary: | The Frigorífico Agropecuaria Santa Cruz is a Colombian company, from the city of Barranquilla, with high recognition in the meat industry market, occupying a relevant role in the provision of the slaughter and gutting service of cattle and pigs. In harmony with the duty of the organization since its foundation, the interest arises to ensure the provision of a service complying with the highest quality standards, guaranteeing Good Manufacturing Practices and seeking to comply with Sustainability: The balance between growth economic, social development and environmental responsibility. This degree project seeks to identify the current conditions of the company in terms of environmental management, which will allow it to be done through planning, documentation and the establishment of bases that allow compliance with legal requirements. For this reason, taking as reference the ISO 14001: 2015 Standard, regarding the subject in question, we proceed to carry out the Design of an Environmental Management System. |
