Summary:This research focuses on the analysis of the implementation and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in strengthening the teaching processes of mathematics in teachers. In the 21st century, humanity deals between reflection and debates about its future; conditioned by the advancement of knowledge, especially science and technology. The purpose of this research is: Strengthen teaching digital skills as a framework for action in the process of teaching mathematics, in departmental educational institutions Armando Estrada Flórez and Rodrigo Vives De Andreís. This study is carried out based on a social critical epistemological perspective with a qualitative approach and an action research method. The results showed that in the institutions the teachers presented shortcomings in the management of technological and digital tools. teachers together with researchers, during the process of training workshops achieved the strengthening of digital skills in participating teachers, which allows them to reorient their pedagogical practice by merging the elements required by the Ministry of National Education and ICT, and thus achieve transformation in the process of teaching mathematics
