Summary: | This Project came up with the need to research about the emotions that the overage students from Fundación Futuros Valores demonstrate in their learning process. It was stablished as a general objective to describe the students’ emotions in overage conditions from Fundación Futuros Valores. The process was focused on the identification of phenomenom of study to correlate with its impact to the learning atmosphere at the fundación. This research, tackled from a descriptive view, basically based on interpretative and humanist model. The method used was mixed, with qualitative and quantitave aspects. According to the methodological process developed, it was included a direct observation instrument to give answer to the first objective; in addition, a survey with 12 indicators to apply to twelve average students. The final results showed that a great percentage of the average students do not manage their emotions in the daily practice inside the classroom. It makes not possible to develop a learning process successfully in the foundation. Handling emotions is important to generate learning environment and promote good academic performance in the classroom. It is essential to stimulate motivation and encourage the average students to develop their capacities with good attitude and disposition. It is shown that the average students have difficulties to control their emotions. It means that la Fundación Futuros Valores should look for strategies to let learners to identify and manage their emotions and in that way to achieve significant learning experiences. |
