Summary: | Since 2015 in Colombia, the Synthetic Index of Education Quality (ISCE) has been implemented, in response to international agreements established by the Colombian government with multilateral cooperation organizations; The aforementioned index bases its measurement to a greater extent on the results of the knowledge tests of mathematics and language, assigning only 25% to citizen competencies. From this reference, the study analyzes the factors that impact the results of citizen competencies from the educational institutions, for this purpose an instrument was designed applied to the rectors of the educational establishments of the municipality of soledad, through which the level of inclusion is inquired and articulation of the categories of citizen and social competencies evaluated by ICFES.
