Summary:Currently in business , much of workers unaware of ergonomic and occupational risk prevention factors and their struggle for survival desmeritan the value of working conditions , trying everything above any risk. The industry does not escape this refrigerating and himself with its diversity of activities , among which are those related to the chillers . That is why , in accordance with the interests of international bodies and ministerial bodies of the Colombian nation on disease prevention and health preservation continues , are developing research that focus on it, which is reflected in this research work , whose goal was to analyze the occupational risk of exposure to cold in cold Barranquilla. Charting a methodology for this materialized through fieldwork , descriptive , transactional , non- experimental design using a convenience sample , based from the leaders of the General Systems Theory , the Intelligent Organization , Ergonomics , Prevention occupational Risks ( PRL ) , the Business Management from an Ergonomic Perspective, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ) and Meat Food cold Stores , taken as a study variable occupational risk of exposure to cold. For the process of critical evaluation of the various aspects of systematic observation records as data collection instruments for the physical- spatial, physical and environmental conditions , ancillary services , and risk factors predisposing to the development of occupational diseases were used. The results showed that in addition to the risks from exposure to cold , other factors of ergonomics and prevention of occupational risks associated , indicating this, that you are not fully considered these aspects , predisposing a condition that increases the likelihood and impact of risk occupational exposure to cold short, medium and long term.
