Description
Summary:The objective of this study focuses on analyzing the management of University Social Responsibility (RSU) at the Universidad de la Costa - CUC, considering its essential functions from the perspective of the interest groups involved. The methodology adopted was based on a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire with 134 items as a data collection instrument. This questionnaire was applied to each interest group in order to evaluate their degree of involvement in the university's RSU. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 25 (IBM Corp, Armonk, NY, USA). A data reduction technique known as factor analysis was applied to examine correlations between a small number of unobserved variables called factors. Within the framework of this research, the total variance of the different interest groups of the Universidad de la Costa – CUC was analyzed. Graduate students had a total variance of 11.538, while providers had a total variance of 1.792. Teachers, for their part, recorded a variation of 24,219, which represents significant data. Finally, the administrative staff presented a variation of 53.5. These results showed that both undergraduate and graduate students, suppliers, professors and administrative staff consider that the Universidad de la Costa - CUC does have enough teaching activities that generate University Social Responsibility. It is concluded that the institution demonstrates a solid commitment to RSU by providing support and resources to each of these interest groups.
