| Summary: | The aim of the present research is oriented to formulate a socio-juridical analysis about the citizen participation, in the contracting processes with public resources in Palmar de Varela town, department of the Atlantic; starting from the description of the principle of participation and its regulation about the contracting with public resources in Colombia. Then the identification of the mechanisms of participation applied to the contracting with public resources in Palmar de Varela town, for this were applied surveys to the population and petition rights were interposed to the public administration; with this was obtained as a result by the citizenship, a lack of knowledge of the principles and spaces of participation and by the administration, the breach of the principle of participation in the contracting processes with public resources. |
