Summary:The construction sector in Colombia has been energized in recent years, becoming one of the largest contributors of the country’s gross domestic product. In order to carry out the construction of a civil works project or the performance of a consultancy, the State requires to advance bidding processes for the selection of the suitable bidder in the execution of the project. In order to carry out these bidding processes, proposers must follow guidelines stipulated and determined by the State. This grade work is relevant, as it allows us to standardize the processes leading to the recruitment of the proposer who executes the projects that the State needs to carry out, which will be guided by the guidelines of the PMI through its PMBOK guide document sixth edition.
