Summary: | Education is a determining process that influences the social and cultural aspects of the communities. Thus, in Colombia, due to its ethnic and cultural diversity, ethno-education is proposed, on which pedagogical strategies are developed that contribute to the recognition of the importance of traditions, thus, the palenquero community has seen many of its socio-cultural manifestations diminished, one of these being language, for which reason, The objective of this research was to propose guidelines to set scenarios and ethno-educational practices in intercultural contexts to promote the development of linguistic, grammatical and phonetic competencies of the palenquero language. This was achieved by starting from a qualitative approach, using documentary analysis and hermeneutics to interpret and understand documents and interviews made to different members of the Institución Etnoeducativa Distrital Paulino Salgado Batata. The results obtained show that in general the participants of the project recognize the importance of their culture and how education contributes to its strengthening. In this respect, it is evident that the teachers of the institution have been trained in the ethno-educational approach, finally influencing the curricula of the institution. The conclusions of the project indicate that the guidelines proposed by the MEN are known, although there are still aspects to be improved. Likewise, there is evidence of a commitment by the teachers to the knowledge of the Palenque community, for which they use various recreational tools, including teaching the Palenque language, although this has not been fully consolidated due to the curricular structure of the institution. |
