The present investigation had as objective to determine the relation of the logistics management and the competitiveness of the SMEs of the sector of logistic operators in Departamento del Atlántico. The study was oriented in the research line of Economic Sciences in Administration, contextualizing itself in the areas of knowledge of Logistics Management and Competitiveness of SMEs in the logistics operators sector. Theoretically, the variable was supported by the approaches of Langley (1986), Carrasco (2000), García (2004), Trujillo (2005), Stock & Lambert (2000) and Cantillo.As for the type of research was descriptive, correlational, with non-experimental, cross-sectional and field design. The population was constituted by 25 managers and 25 operative coordinators of the business sector of the SMEs for a total of 50 subjects.The technique used was the survey, applied through two questionnaires of 25 and 12 items, with Likert-type response scale. It was validated by 5 experts, and the reliability test of Cronbach's Alpha was applied, whose coefficient marked 0.80 and 0.72 for the variables indicating that it is reliable Once the instrument was applied, it was processed statistically with the support of the statistical package SPSS version XXI. Once the general averages of the variable are obtained, it is evident that the population surveyed has a positioning. The conclusions indicate that, in the logistics process, the success of a business structure, the reduction of costs and the well-being of the needs of its clients. |

El estudio se orientó en la línea de investigación de Ciencias Económicas en Administración, contextualizándose en las áreas del conocimiento de Gestión Logística y Competitividad de las Pymes del sector de operadores logísticos. Teóricamente, la variable se sustentó con los enfoques de Langley (1986), Carrasco (2000), García (2004), Trujillo (2005), Stock & Lambert (2000) y Cantillo (2012), entre otros. En cuanto al tipo de investigación fue descriptiva, correlacional, con diseño no experimental, transversal y de campo. La población estuvo constituida por 25 directivos y 25 coordinadores operativos del sector empresarial de las Pymes para un total de 50 sujetos. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta, aplicada a través de dos cuestionarios de 25 y 12 ítems, con escala de respuesta tipo Likert. Fue validado por 5 expertos, y se aplicó la prueba de confiabilidad de Alfa de Cronbach, cuyo coeficiente marcó 0.80 y 0.72 para las variables lo que indica que es confiable. Una vez aplicado el instrumento, se procesó estadísticamente con el apoyo del paquete estadístico SPSS versión XXI. Una vez obtenidos los promedios generales de la variable se evidencia que la población encuestada posee un posicionamiento.
