El clúster de salud del departamento del Atlántico: un análisis de innovación y competividad

The research work consisted of an analysis of the competitiveness and innovation of companies belonging to the cluster of health in the Department of Atlántico. It is based on an exploratory investigation and deductive method. Within the instruments used, design a survey, which applied once allowed to make a diagnosis of the current situation of the performance of the companies in the Cluster-level competitiveness and innovation, and its contribution to the departmental economy. However, with was evident difficulties in the acquisition of assistive technologies to develop processes and innovative services, which are the link to competitiveness. Lack a culture of planning of enterprises, many activities and processes, execute from day to day, as in the case of innovation and intellectual property, the latter this deficient in the Department of Atlántico, where has failed it the importance that has nowadays as an indicator of competitiveness. Finally the strategy of organization of the Cluster of health by the Chamber of Commerce of Barranquilla, district mayor and Governor of the Atlantic, is the way to get bases involving companies for innovation and competitiveness
