Description
Summary:This paper named “Application of new monitoring tools that validates academic generic skills assessment in the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad de la Costa (CUC)” presents the progress achieved in the implementation of a new evaluation model that seeks the identification of features characteristic in students with the aim of strengthen the academic development of generic skills that currently is being evaluated by the ICFES in a transverse form in all academic programs. The initial diagnosis is obtained from the test on the previous period, in which are identified the skills at which the student must be strengthen into their academic level in order to make a feedback to the evaluation process and to validate that since the scope of the engineering faculty of the Universidad de la Costa (CUC), can focus on improving and applying these indicators enabling students to present such evidence to assess their academic competency.
