Summary: | The objective of this research project was to design a Potable Water Treatment Plant for the population of La Playita, Sitio Nuevo, and Magdalena. To begin with, it was necessary to carry out a survey that showed that the study site has 100 inhabitants; the calculations of the future population show that for 25 years the population will be 200 inhabitants, so that the flows could be designed. In this way the Qmd was 2.6 l / s; the QMD was 3.4 l / s and the QMH was 4.2 l / s; Then the physicochemical and microbiological characterization of the source of supply that was the Magdalena River was carried out, with these results it was concluded that the treatment units of the supply system would be: sand trap, coagulation, triangular 90 ° weir, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration , disinfection and storage tank, and, finally, the total budget for the construction of the La Playita drinking water treatment plant was $ 10,906,270 |
