Summary:Coexistence is one of the most important characteristics in the pedagogical process, one of the main challenges is the transformation of human relations applying citizen competencies; to work with these competences and coexistence from the education for peace, coexistence and the promotion of the learning of the conflict, will help us to maintain a more democratic country where everyone with diplomacy will get bigger and better things and above all achieving a better coexistence In the Departmental Educational Institution Natania, of San Andres Island, the coexistence is being affected, by different manifestations of violence and aggression among the students that affect, not only the learning environment but also, the interpersonal relationships. Through this project, the relationship between the practice of citizenship competencies and school coexistence in sixth grade students will be determined. The paradigm is a holistic investigation, with a Mixed Qualitative and quantitative approach and a non-experimental transectional correlation level analysis. Through the results, the relationship between the practice of citizenship competencies and school coexistence was determined, their social level of life was analyzed in depth, the behaviors and behaviors acquired by the students and the citizen competences present in the students were identified, a commitment is achieved from all the parties involved in this process
