Summary:The National Health superintendence "SuperSalud" determined, through Circular056 2009 to implement the system of early warning indicators by which the Health Promoting Enterprises (EPS) assess the assurance and the quality of care the health services offered by the health Care Providers Institution where the EPS’ contract their services (IPS). The objective of the audit is to monitor and verify Calidad056 management application to determine if the software functionality required to comply with the clauses in the Supersalud CE056 while assessing the quality with which the software was developed. The audit was conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards promulgated by ISACA. To meet the audit objectives they were developed following procedures: interviews with personnel involved in the process, following the recommendations of the COBIT framework and the standard AS/NZ4360 a risk analysis exercise was performed, based on the results of the risk analysis, the process of "risk-oriented audit" was initialed tests were applied and finally generates the result of the audit. As a general conclusion of the audit it was determined that in general terms according the reporting process early alert indicators to Supersalud is appropriate to the current legal and regulatory norms, but the application does not meet any standard for software development, equally the database is not normalized.
