Summary: | The objective of this work is to analyze the management of the cash cycle in PYMES of the swine sector of the Municipality of Baranoa, Department of Atlántico - Colombia. The research used was of a descriptive nature, with a non-experimental, field design, using the survey as a technique for data collection, through a semi-structured questionnaire that included 23 items, applied to 55 SMEs dedicated to the swine activity. The results show that the sector is composed entirely of microenterprises, without formal registration, the large part, which have weekly liquidity to meet their commitments with suppliers; This liquidity is mainly reflected in cash, being able to honor the cash payments as well. Such commitments are certainly assumed with cash availability, cash and cash.
