| Summary: | In this project I study of feasibility for the implementation of a Laboratory of industrial hygiene in the University of the Coast CUC, one seeks to use a high technology or the equipments specialized in the industrial higiene, in addition one tries to offer a service of protection and investigation; in order to offer to the usurious a good service and likewise to create conscience of the risks to which we are submitted every day. The laboratories of industrial hygiene must expire with technical specifications that allow to realize qualitative and quantitative evaluations of the exhibition to atmospheric pollutants (chemical substances and powder), physical agents (noise, stress for heat, radiation, lighting) and biological agents. For the biological agents, the qualitative evaluations are sufficient to recommend controls, and it is not necessary to realize quantitative evaluations, since these tend to do more complicated. Though some instruments of direct reading of air pollution can turn out to be limited for the ends of evaluation of the exhibition, they are extremely useful to identify the risks and his sources, in addition it is possible to determine the concentrations I sting and to gather information to design the measures of control. For the hygienic studies it is necessary to to possess a wide series of suitable equipments and that should be adopted to the needs of the client., without leaving aside the characteristics of the environment and the conditions of work. |
