Estimación de las concentraciones de los contaminantes atmosféricos criterio : MP10, SO2, CO, COVS, NOX emitidos por las fuentes móviles en las principales vías de la ciudad de Barranquilla

In the present investigation the results of the estimation of atmospheric pollutants are presented: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulphur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter less than 10 μm (MP10) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), emitted by mobile sources in five high traffic road...

Description
Summary:In the present investigation the results of the estimation of atmospheric pollutants are presented: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulphur dioxide (SO2), particulate matter less than 10 μm (MP10) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), emitted by mobile sources in five high traffic roads in the city of Barranquilla: (Cordialidad Avenue, Street 30th , Street 40th, Murillo Street and Circunvalar Avenue). For this research some traffic counting were carried out at each of the places of study, from August to December 2016; covering one working day and not working day for each point. The emissions were estimated by the factors of CORINAIR, adjusted for Colombia, resulting in the emissions, daily and hourly, of the atmospheric pollutants studied. From the results obtained, it was evidenced that the highest emissions of pollutants in average per hour were presented in Cordialidad Avenue Cordialidad with street 13b-104 and Circunvalar Avenue with 38th street. Likewise, the pollutants that presented the highest emission were the VOCs with 53.9 kg/h and CO with 158.6 kg/h. The time of day with the highest emission of pollutants was 8:00 a.m. with 265.9 kg/h of CO and the vehicle category that emitted the most pollutants to the environment were motorcycles, with 87.9 kg/h of CO
