description El análisis de la literatura especializada refleja una evolución en la comprensión de la participación femenina en roles gerenciales, contables y sostenibles, destacando la transición de enfoques tradicionalmente centrados en los hombres hacia una mayor inclusión del género femenino. Sin embargo, persisten barreras sociales, económicas y culturales que limitan el desarrollo profesional de las mujeres, exacerbadas por percepciones negativas sobre su capacidad y por desafíos relacionados con su bienestar físico y mental. Estas limitaciones se materializan en fenómenos como el "techo de cristal" y la asignación de roles secundarios o "blandos" que obstaculizan su acceso a posiciones de liderazgo. Con el objetivo de analizar las bases teóricas que sustentan la influencia de la gerencia femenina en la contabilidad y la sostenibilidad, especialmente en el marco de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 5 (igualdad de género) y 13 (acción climática), se aplicó un diseño metodológico documental con enfoque cualitativo. Mediante una revisión sistemática basada en el modelo PRISMA, se analizaron 62 investigaciones publicadas entre 2018 y 2023 en bases de datos SCIENCE DIRECT y SCOPUS. Los resultados identifican cuatro teorías clave: la teoría del poder, la teoría del intercambio de conocimientos, la teoría de la dependencia de los recursos y la teoría del estilo de liderazgo. Estas teorías evidencian que, aunque las mujeres enfrentan barreras estructurales y culturales, poseen competencias y habilidades diferenciadoras que promueven la sostenibilidad y la innovación

Sin embargo, persisten barreras sociales, económicas y culturales que limitan el desarrollo profesional de las mujeres, exacerbadas por percepciones negativas sobre su capacidad y por desafíos relacionados con su bienestar físico y mental. Estas limitaciones se materializan en fenómenos como el "techo de cristal" y la asignación de roles secundarios o "blandos" que obstaculizan su acceso a posiciones de liderazgo. Con el objetivo de analizar las bases teóricas que sustentan la influencia de la gerencia femenina en la contabilidad y la sostenibilidad, especialmente en el marco de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 5 (igualdad de género) y 13 (acción climática), se aplicó un diseño metodológico documental con enfoque cualitativo. Mediante una revisión sistemática basada en el modelo PRISMA, se analizaron 62 investigaciones publicadas entre 2018 y 2023 en bases de datos SCIENCE DIRECT y SCOPUS. Los resultados identifican cuatro teorías clave: la teoría del poder, la teoría del intercambio de conocimientos, la teoría de la dependencia de los recursos y la teoría del estilo de liderazgo.
