Summary: | The present investigation of mixed type, tries to determine the incidence of the educative act, like scene of mediation for the coexistence, in a school of the island of San Andres, Colombia, denominated Christian Mission, degrees: third and fourth of the basic education. Ethnographic observation was made in the classroom and application of questionnaires for evaluation of the coexistence and school conflict of Ortega & del Rey The observations reveal little use of the educational act for the learning of mediating skills, because in this, only very motivating academic content is imparted and very sporadically, guidelines and prosocial behaviors are urged, with the exclusive use of maintaining discipline in the classroom. This goes against what was expressed by the teachers in the scale questionnaire for the evaluation of coexistence, where they affirm that coexistence and motivation are fundamental axes of the educational act |
