To implant the quality insurance systems they will allow to the organization to have benefits that give him an added value with regard to the competition, bearing in mind of that the systems do not have the aptitude themselves to assure its commercial success, it helps to know by means of the proper systems, the procedures, its measurement, the handling of the information, the state that its processes and its transfer keep to the targets in order to be competitive. Inside this globalization and opening, the Technical Norms and the Evaluation of the conformity (certification, essays and accreditation) begin to play a predominant role. The ICONTEC faithful to its mission and vision of supporting the competitiveness of the companies in Colombia, has come working so that the Colombian Technical Norms, NTC, base on international norms ISO and OSHAS, so that our companies could compete in the exterior

Razón por la cual los requisitos del mercado en este fenómeno de la globalización, cada día son más exigentes. Sobre todo, para aquellas empresas pequeñas y medianas, especialmente en los países subdesarrollados o en vías de desarrollo. Implantar los sistemas de aseguramiento de calidad permitirán a la organización tener beneficios que le den un valor agregado con respecto a la competencia, teniendo en cuenta de que los sistemas no tienen la capacidad por si solos de asegurar su éxito comercial, ayuda a conocer mediante los propios sistemas, los procedimientos, su medición, el manejo de la información, el estado que guardan sus procesos y su traslado a los objetivos con el fin de ser competitiva.
