Summary: | This study aims to analyze the general process conditions in a furniture company in Colombia. Many improvement opportunities were identified and addressed using lean manufacturing tools and philosophy to increase the process's outcome. The methodology allowed some activities to reorganize and identify deficiencies in personnel formation, housekeeping, lack of tools, and other factors affecting the process. Different actions were implemented with the commitment of directives, operators, production management, and other areas. The discipline showed for all the problematic areas allowed to increase the outcome of the process by 21%. |
