Summary:Social networks play a key role in influencing and disseminating information on digital economy, cryptocurrencies are a digital asset and a new form of economy worldwide that has particularly attracted young people for the new investment opportunities they can make to grow their economy, however, the volatility of the crypto market can bring risks in young people who are just starting their financial activity, therefore it is important to corroborate the contents and be informed before entering this new space of the global economy. This quantitative research studied the communicative strategies used by the influencer @Jeisoncripto in the social network Instagram in order to develop financial education processes. Likewise, the communication tactics employed to strengthen the knowledge of his student-followers and explored how the leader uses the social network Instagram to impart his knowledge. APIFY software was used to monitor the content in the influencer's profile, a structured interview was conducted with @Jeisoncripto and online survey was applied to 22 student-followers of the classes given by the leader. The results showed that social networks are vital for disseminating information about digital economy, attracting young people to the various investment opportunities provided by Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
