Description
Summary:The challenge facing humanity is to break with the schemes, put aside traditional behaviours and initiate healthy actions involving all aspects of the environment. The management of waste and em-phatically the reuse of waste materials, is one of the strategies that are gradually gaining strength in this society that is suddenly seeing the damage caused by each of its actions, the excessive consump-tion of natural resources, industries, cities and in general the daily life of an irresponsible humanity, things that evidence and call for change. A complex term, elusive for many but very popular these days, but applied in an honest and true way is the solution to this critical situation that requires all sectors to work on strategies to be friendly to the environment and satisfy their needs or demands at the same time, social and environmental responsibility must be present in every action and thought that is conceived, is not a whim, is not fashion or vanity is an imperative need, the planet can not afford to continue on the same path towards self-destruction. The usability of waste in the field of architecture, construction, urbanism and design is one of the strategies to mitigate the high rate of consumption and impact that these activities generate on the environment, in addition to being something that benefits from other points of view such as the economic and energy, betting on transformation and reuse is an ambitious but realistic challenge.
