Summary:It is to be understood that processes and companies currently play a fundamental role in setting a precedent in the entire generation of work probabilities, in this way it is verified that the ideal number of tools is direct with the management that they must implement in its continuous improvement and the competitiveness tools that these require. In this way, the current work seeks in the first instance to diagnose each of the stages to streamline and renew the main processes that are carried out in the business operation, it was directly awarded in a bibliographic review and later in the implementation of the same through a plan. Of improvement SMED in a flexographic machine in the company. In the first place, the problem under study corresponds to the low productivity of the machine, where the cause-and-effect tool is used to find possible solutions, establish goals, hypotheses, and process improvements. SMED is a widely used method to reduce setup time (machine setup time). This direct intervention in the company, must generate different benefits capable of solving the competitiveness and the organization deficit that it has, thus achieving that the times and amounts of demand and supply can be covered at all hours for the greatest need of the company. Company, thus achieving an increase in the consideration of assigning viable jobs and, above all, capable of generating arduous performance. Based on this methodology, we sought to reduce the preparation time of the machine, in addition to the main occupation processes. In addition, through the development of the SMED, possible improvements in the work area and activities related to assembly time were identified.
