Summary:The purpose of this research was to analyze the tensions and emotions of teaching practice in the times of the Covid 19 in some educational institutions of the official sector of the departments of Atlántico, Guajira, Magdalena, Córdoba, and Bolívar of the Republic of Colombia, a descriptive paradigm was used, Under the empirical-inductive approach, he assumed a type of Mixed research, the population was composed of 92 teachers from the departments of Atlántico, Guajira, Magdalena, Còrdoba,and Bolìvar of the Republic of Colombia, in which was used a quantitative and qualitative paradigm, using the empirical-inductive, and so it assumed a type of mixed research. The population was composed of 92 teachers from different departments such as Atlántico, Guajira, Magdalena, Cordoba, and Bolivar of the Republic of Colombia . The technique for the present study consisted of a survey; a type of questionnaire which was selected as an instrument and applied to 92 subjects. Finally, it was obtained that the principles of teaching practice in the days of COVID 19 were marked by a great challenge despite of the complexity of the pandemic; it was taken by the majority of the study population with a critical, humanistic and flexible attitude. Also, it was found that teachers mostly suffer feelings of depression, stress and among the most outstanding tensions are stress, concerns, and work overload, considering that teachers have mostly had to reorganize their daily life to adjust to a situation of confinement and be able to cope with this complex situation.
