Summary: | By the nature of their profession, for the law student is a priority to relations with the community, hence the importance of the development and practice of citizenship competencies in these social contexts to allow a change in the way we think and feel the world surrounding this work must be generated from a line or intentional toward determining a trend that must be reflected in intervention programs. Through a mixed methodological design and implementation of a number of techniques and tools such as focus group interviews, data collection tools for teachers and students, this project showed how they conceive, develop citizenship skills in the university context students of the Faculty of law of the University of Costa, CUC. The results indicated that the raw theoretical instruction on the application of skills and civic values, inability to resolve conflict and scarcity of strategies in the classroom and beyond for teaching thereof. Thus from the results a list of recommendations were offered to consider from the pedagogical and curricular areas for the development of skills in these students considering the integral formation and characteristics of their professional profile. |
