Summary:At present, it has become necessary to promote environments that provide quality, that are maintained and that the full development of activities is developed, especially in the educational sector, such as academic training institutions. In the search to reach comfortable thermal conditions, numerous studies have been dedicated to the evaluation of thermal comfort in institutions and places around the world, implementing different comfort assessment techniques nd methodologies that have led to significant contributions. This research work carries out a review of the thermal comfort assessments, the adaptive method of Fanger and the standards of the ASHRAE 55: 2013 standard. What was the support for the evaluation of the thermal comfort perception in block 10 of the University of the Coast. For the evaluation process, the surveys are shown in all the rooms of the block and measurements are made in real time; The surveys took into account personal and external factors. ASHRAE 55: 2013 and 28% discomfort. As a result, it was found that 72% of students in block 10 felt a thermal sensation classified as comfort according to the norm. In the thermal acceptability 87% were satisfied with the indoor climate in the classes of classes. The internal temperature of 23.6 ° C represents a higher percentage of temperature with 84%.
