Summary:	The process of economic transformation that Colombia is experiencing , and therefore the department of the Atlantic with free trade , demand for productive business organizations , financial and organizational strength , which are important for the competitiveness of these in the current market . According to reports ODES and the Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Atlantic (2010), the engineering sector has generally maintained a growing dynamic, with a share of GDP between 20 and 22% during that period.
