| Summary: | High performance concrete (HPC) is a material that exhibits improved properties compared to a conventional concrete (CC), these improved properties are mainly based on its resistance to compression and durability; In Mexico and Colombia it is very little known in the student field, so this degree work presents a detailed explanation of the CC and the HPC, as well as delving into the components and characteristics of the HPC, with its new world-level research advances and its new uses The importance of knowledge of this concrete for the future was demonstrated, with the implementation of recycled materials, which offers a high environmentally friendly and durable performance for the construction of large physical infrastructure works. |
