Summary:This project was developed in order to determine the incidence of alternative minimum charge values, suggested by the Colombian Seismoresistant Standard (NSR-10) for a fixed partition system of masonry and lightweight partitions with a cost analysis in the city of Barranquilla, Atlántico. To evaluate the alternative minimum load values, we worked with a cubic structure of 12 levels or floors including the deck, with a pool located on the top floor on the right side of the building, the elevator and stairs which are in a central location; These characteristics were taken from the results obtained in the trend surveys on how it is being constructed in the city of Barranquilla, the surveys were applied to students, retirees, civil engineering actives and architects. Work visits were made, where a photographic record was taken that serves as a support to verify the results of the survey of tendencies realized, there were structures of more than 10 levels of height observed, with partitions of traditional masonry and solid of concrete with Occupancy of the residential and business type. The costs were determined taking into account that the structure has the same sections of structural elements for the analysis performed with the three types of partitions under study (partitions in traditional masonry, concrete and lightweight masonry).
