Hoy en nuestro país, Colombia, en el Siglo XXI después de tantos años donde se ha ido evolucionando en muchos aspectos tales como, la industria, el comercio, la economía, es extraño, pero millones de personas no gozan del beneficio del agua potable, lo cual en otros países es algo muy sencillo, aquí muchas personas tienen que acudir a los jueces para poder tener acceso al tan preciado líquido. Hace algunos años, este tema no era de tanta importancia, pero a medida que ha pasado el tiempo y se han dado a conocer los Derechos de los Colombianos este tema se ha vuelto muy importante. Con la Constitución Política de 1992 se ha dado una herramienta muy importante para que los ciudadanos defiendan sus Derechos. Todo esto nació con el reconocimiento del Derecho al Agua Potable como un Derecho Humano de acuerdo al Bloque de Constitucionalidad. Es por ello que aunque nuestra Constitución Política no consagra expresamente el Derecho al Agua Potable como un Derecho Fundamental, gracias a los Tratados Internacionales cualquier ciudadano puede invocar para solicitar su protección bajo nuestro ordenamiento. Es así como los ciudadanos logran tener un mecanismo efectivo para el amparo de sus derechos fundamentales, haciéndolo mediante la Acción de Tutela y La Corte Constitucional mediante muchos de sus pronunciamientos ha hecho valer el Derecho al Agua Potable y es así como muchas personas han logrado tener acceso a este líquido que representa salud y vida. |

Today, in our Country, Colombia, in the twenty-first century pasted many years, where has evolutioned in many aspects, like the industry, the bussiness, the economy, is strange, but millions of persons do not have enjoyment of the benefit of the drinkable water, this in others countries is very easy, here, many people has to go to the Judges for can to have access at the valued liquid. Some years ago, this theme was not very importan, but the time is passing and the rightes hava been knowed for the people in Colombia, and this topic have been very important for everybody. With the Political Constitution of 1992 we have a tool very important, for the citizens defend his rights. All this was born with the recognizing the rigth of the drinkable wáter like a Human Rigth agree with the Constitucional Block.
