Summary:The implementation of quality education has been decades task of educational institutions makes sense its meaning and importance in different contexts and from all have relevance, coherence and consistency. It is obviously that the companies were pioneers establishing quality management models, however, education is recent in this attempt, this time difference and purposes has created a gap, distancing the school provides training and what society and the production system requires. Education has taken up these models of quality management processes designed and implemented Enterprise without major adjustments using a model of school management. So determine how school management affects the implementation of quality in school is the subject of this work, for which the literature on school management and the basic criterion of quality implementation was revised in school, finding schools aimed at achieving specific indicators of its management, but not to the generation of processes to seek an improvement in school outcomes focused on their institutional horizon, that lead to a comprehensive and quality education. Therefore it can be concluded that the lack of a model of school management point to a quality model designed according to the object of the school, would be essential in the pursuit of quality in educational institutions.
