Summary:The following research project was conducted in order to evaluate and compare the efficiency of two advanced oxidation processes using an artificial light source for COD removal for the treatment of mature leachate. Processes were applied fenton and photo heterogeneous photocatalysis, which resulted in positive index percentages of reduction of COD. Besides this, contains a methodological framework for the design and construction of a laboratory scale experimental reactor type Bach.
