Summary:In the national educational framework, it is relevant to use art because it would contribute to the training processes of students in institutions that seek a comprehensive conception of better citizens. The objective of this research project is to propose art as a pedagogical tool that allows the strengthening of coexistence in students of the Jorge Isaac I.E.D of the city of Barranquilla. This research was interpretive, not experimental, the method used was the ethnographic one, and the semi-structured interview was used as the information gathering technique, applied to students, teachers and teaching directors of the aforementioned institution. The results obtained showed the approval and expectations caused among the members of the educational community.
